Baggage Preparation
Your baggage should contain items for personal use, clothing, and other necessities for your daily use or comfort during the journey.
We advise you to adhere to the following recommendations:
Write your name and address on both the outside and the inside of your baggage.
Include a temporary address as well (e.g., the name and address of the hotel where you will be staying).
Lock your baggage or wrap it with strong tape to prevent accidental opening and loss of items.
Carry valuable and fragile items, important documents, and money exclusively in your hand luggage.
Your baggage may contain items for personal use, clothing, and other necessities for your use or comfort during the journey.
We advise you to adhere to the following recommendations:
- Write your name and address on both the outside and the inside of your baggage;
- Include a temporary address as well (e.g., the name and address of the hotel where you will be staying);
- Lock your baggage or wrap it with strong tape to prevent accidental opening and loss of items;
- Carry valuable and fragile items, important documents, and money exclusively in your hand luggage;
- Remove all baggage tags from previous trips;
- Cameras can be carried and used on Air Montenegro flights, but if you are continuing your journey with another airline, keep in mind that some countries do not allow the use of cameras and binoculars on planes and at airports.
On Air Montenegro flights, you may carry one piece of unchecked baggage into the cabin, with a maximum weight of up to 8kg and sum of dimensions (including wheels, handles, and external pockets) not exceeding 115cm (e.g., 55x40x20 cm).
Baggage sizers are available at all airports to check dimensions. These are simple metal frames into which the hand luggage must fit. If it fits in the frame, it meets standard dimensions; otherwise, it must be reorganized and repacked. Such frames are usually located near check-in counters so you can easily repack excess baggage into the suitcases you intend to check in.
In addition to one piece of hand luggage, you may bring a coat/jacket, umbrella, crutches, camera, binoculars, and reading material suitable for the flight duration into the cabin. Baby food in liquid or mushy form and milk in appropriate quantities depending on the flight duration may also be carried. Passengers using liquid medication may carry it in hand luggage exclusively with a medical certificate issued by a competent medical institution or authorized medical practice. The same applies to carrying medical preparations such as insulin, blood plasma, etc.
Note*: Authenticity checks may be performed.
NOTES
You may also bring into the cabin:
- Nail kits, without blades and files;
- Laptop computers, PDA devices, mobile phones, etc.;
- Lighter - one per passenger, safety matches that cannot be lit by friction.
We advise you to carry high-value items such as money and jewelry, important business documents, keys, and personal items of special importance to you in your hand luggage, never in checked baggage.
There are items that, if found in hand luggage, may be permanently confiscated at security control before boarding the plane.
Items accepted for transport with carrier approval only in hand luggage:
- Medical oxygen: gaseous oxygen (bottles up to 2 liters) or air cylinder for medical use with a mandatory certificate issued by aviation authorities that the bottle is safe for flight;
- Mercury barometer or thermometer carried by a representative of a meteorological or similar agency - must be packed in hard packaging or a waterproof bag to prevent mercury spillage;
- Heat-producing articles: battery-operated equipment, underwater torches, soldering irons which, if accidentally activated, can generate extreme heat. For such devices, batteries must be removed (separated from the device) to prevent unintentional activation.
Notice for passengers travelling via Nikola Tesla Airport - Belgrade
We inform you that starting from May 1, 2018, all passengers arriving from another airport and transferring to another flight at Nikola Tesla Airport will not be allowed, for security reasons, to carry liquids in hand luggage exceeding 100 ml, including liquids purchased at another airport and packed in a STEB bag.
More detailed information can be found at www.beg.aero.
