IOSA Certification

PODGORICA – National airline Air Montenegro is proud to announce that it has successfully completed a complex procedure and received the IOSA Certificate (IATA Operational Safety Audit), officially confirming compliance with the highest and strictest international standards in aviation safety, organization, and quality.

What does the IOSA certificate mean?

IOSA is a globally recognized evaluation system designed to assess an airline's operational management and control systems. Obtaining this certificate is not just a matter of prestige, but a key prerequisite for:

  • Establishing commercial "code-share" agreements with major global airlines;
  • Reducing fleet insurance costs due to proven safety levels.

Rigorous control in all segments

The audit process lasted several months, during which international auditors detailedly checked over 900 standards and recommendations. The control covered all key business segments:

Flight operations, aircraft maintenance, flight dispatch, ground handling, cargo operations, and cabin safety.

"The safety of our passengers and crew is our absolute imperative and priority from which we do not deviate even a millimeter. This certificate is the crown of the hard work of our entire team and proof that Air Montenegro implements procedures that are side by side with the world's largest carriers," stated the company's management.
