To adequately respond to record demand during July and August, Air Montenegro's management made a strategic decision to short-term lease an Airbus A320 aircraft via an ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, Insurance) arrangement.
Why Airbus A320?
This aircraft has a larger capacity (180 seats) compared to our standard Embraer fleet (116 seats). This allows us to:
- Transport more passengers on the busiest routes (Belgrade, Istanbul, Tel Aviv);
- Ensure flight schedule stability in case of unforeseen technical situations;
- Reduce the risk of delays during the busiest summer traffic.
The partner company's crew, together with Air Montenegro representatives in the cabin, will ensure that the service remains at a recognizable, high level.
